Threewaters Annual Camp
We have booked Chyverton Park again for a long weekend of training and fun, those who have been before know it’s a very relaxed camp but the emphasis is on fantastic instruction for all levels.
The first training session begins 2.00pm on Friday afternoon, you can arrive to settle in from 11.00am but bring a packed lunch. We also ride on Saturday morning and afternoon and Sunday morning. Camp finishes at approximately 2pm on Sunday after lunch and please note that everyone must stay until all the clearing up is done!!!
We have three extremely good instructors booked for you; Claire Deitrich makes a very welcome return. Claire judges and competes to a very high BD level and she specialises in Dressage to Music running her own company “Cadenze”.
We also have Sarah Thorne who is a BHSI and BE accredited trainer regularly teaching at Pontispool and Stockland Lovell camps.
Fred Scala is our third Instructor, Fred represented Ireland at Young Rider level, won Tattersall’s CCI** and is successful at both Show Jumping and Eventing.
As you can see we have secured the very best trainers for you!
There is stabling for 24 horses, complete with haylage and straw, the use of the XC course, WH jumps, outdoor arenas and show jumps, the first 24 applications with deposit will secure the spaces, then a wait list will be held.
We have also secured the mechanical horse simulator for a day, which is really exciting.Sixteen 30 minutes sessions can be booked in advance for the Saturday on a first come, first served basis. (£16.00 per session).
The simulator is specifically designed to help riders of all ages and standards to improve their riding. It does not matter if you are a complete beginner, nervous new rider or an advanced dressage rider looking to improve your seat.
It is life sized and like a real horse takes every different type of saddle; GP, Dressage, etc. It is sensitive to leg, hand and seat pressure. The simulator is capable of replicating complicated dressage movements.
This horse doesn’t buck or shy, he is 100% safe but still forward going and obedient at all times. We hope you will enjoy this experience!
The cost will be £200 for the three days and includes meals on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday including lunch on Sunday. Straw bedding and hay are supplied, all you need to bring is a haynet and hard feed for your horse.
Cakes will be welcome, and there will be a prize for the best homemade cake - so everyone get baking!!
